About Liz Sheehan
I didn’t set out to be an author and a crystal healing therapist. I have travelled, lived abroad, spent three years on a global tour with an Irish dance show as the wardrobe manager, ran my own business and had 2 amazing kids. My working life has been wide and varied, encompassing many years working in fashion, retail management, hospitality and catering. Despite all of these wide and varied experiences and opportunities I found myself looking for a deeper meaning to my life and career.
In 2014 I moved from Dublin to Wicklow, focused on raising my two children and began a journey into all things energy related.
Since then I trained as an adult, teen and kids yoga and mindfulness teacher.
I became a Reiki Master, a crystal healing therapist, a WRAP (mental wellness) facilitator and continued my studies into all things spiritual and energetic.
I wrote my first novel, published in Feb 2020.
My primary degree is in Science and I love bridging the gap between the western logical viewpoint of how the world works and traditional eastern mysticism. I am heavily influenced by authors and scientists who also follow this path, such as: Rupert Sheldrake, Greg Bradon and Bruce Lipton.
I am currently working on my second novel, a sequel to ‘Beneath The Visible’ which is secretly a self-help book for teens, incorporating ideas gleaned from my knowledge of reiki / crystals / energy / yoga / mindfulness, wrapped up in a feel good, fast paced and riveting story.
